What We Do
LOM Global builds virtual mining operations to view and optimize the future performance of mines in real time and space for all to see. Traditional reports are static lumps of paper that are costly, rarely read and soon outdated after they are printed. LOM Global’s dynamic 4th dimensional Life-of-mine models (LOMs) remain relevant by changing to suit real world variables such as new mineralization discoveries and commodity price variation. Technological advances have made viewing LOMs a cost effective value proposition at all activity stages from exploration to closure.

WHO
Scott has over 20 years’ experience working in the mining industry. He has held a number of senior positions including Managing Director, Senior Mining Engineer and Senior Mining Consultant.
He developed his strong practical mining knowledge in the nickel fields of Western Australia where he completed a bachelor of Mining Engineering and a traineeship as an Airleg miner. After leaving the west he combined his practical mining knowledge and engineering skills to work on several start-up operations in Australia and abroad.
After returning to Australia he completed an MBA and worked for several years as a senior consultant for two top tier consulting firms. During this time he discovered his passion for finding errors and unlocking hidden value in Life of Mine (LOM) planning and scheduling. He has worked extensively in this capacity on multiple due diligence, feasibility, and takeover studies. Drawing on his practical experience, he has also assisted in a more hands on role in the practical implementation of operational planning and scheduling changes to bring operations back to profitability.
